The aim of our website is to provide information to members of the public who may be interested in taking up the game of Bowls. It is also to assist any Bowling clubs that may be organising a Bowls Tour to Bristol and the surrounding area.
Our aim is also to promote Bowls at all levels. During our season (April till October) we organise matches against other clubs These can be in either a Competitive or Friendly format. During the playing season we also arrange open days and coaching to help those new to the game.
The club was formed in 1924 and currently has over 50 members. The bowling green and clubhouse (which is privately owned) can be found in Derby Road, Bishopston (next to Happy Lane)
Although the outdoor bowling season is only 6 month long, there is a social atmosphere throughout the year. Events are organised throughout the Winter months in an attempt for the members to keep in contact. These range from Quiz Nights, Music Nights, Bingo and even Skittle matches against other bowls clubs on our alley within the clubhouse.
Keep checking our News and Events tab for up coming events.
